Uploads & quotas
How many replays you can upload, and how to tune your daily quota.
#How does the upload quota work?
To keep the site sustainable, uploads are limited by two rolling windows:
- Weekly quota: your absolute limit over the last 7 days. Once reached, you wait for older uploads to leave the window.
- Daily quota: how many replays you can upload over the last 24 hours. It spreads your uploads across the week, and you can change it.
Why two limits? Daily players might want a sample of each day, weekend players their whole weekly
quota in one session, tournament organizers many replays on specific days. The daily quota lets you pick.
#Quota limits by account type

Weekly limit: Maximum uploads in a rolling 7-day window.
Max daily limit: The highest you can set your daily quota to.
Default daily: The automatic daily limit if you don't customize it (≈ weekly ÷ 7 + 10%).

#How do I configure my daily quota?
- Open your player profile (click your avatar in the navigation bar).
- Find the Upload Quota section, which shows your daily and weekly usage, and click
Settings.
- Use the slider or type a value, from 0 to your tier's maximum.
- Click Save.
Tips: 0 blocks all uploads until you change it. Setting it to your weekly quota lets you upload
everything in one day. The default is about your weekly quota divided by 7, and Reset to default restores
it.
#What happens when I reach my quota?
- Daily limit reached: wait for uploads from the last 24 hours to leave the window, or raise your daily quota if your weekly quota has room.
- Weekly limit reached: wait for uploads from the last 7 days to leave the window, or become a patron for higher limits.
A notice appears on the site when you're at your limit, with what you can do.
#What if my Patreon tier changes?
Your custom daily quota is reset to the default of your new tier, and a popup tells you so you can set it again.
